November 7, 2011: First day of school so we are going to do alot of review and what we do in my classroom.
Morning work: Survay! Do the wordsearch on the front table with a partner.
Writing: Read pgs. 110-116 in the Writers Express book: Writing Personal Naratives
Reading: Focas Lesson: RC book pg. 51-52. Read Uncle Somebody and Becky's b-day. Partner up and do the questions and vocab. Do main idea with class.
S.S: Talk about the classroom and pass out any handouts...dicuss jobs and what we do in here. Take them on a tour around the school.
Math: Review the forms, related facts, and patterns. Mathematics WB: pgs. 3-5
Team Time: Talk about jobs, extra credit, homework, and ask any quesitons about the day, sceduale, or classroom. Dicuss team time. Clean up and pack up!
